Hello everyone!

David Slyfield is one of the most sought-after athletic trainers in New Zealand. He currently trains the world-renowned Emirates Team New Zealand sailing team.

He was recently featured on an episode of Clean Break, New Zealand.

Clean Break is a high-octane adventure series that focuses on the transformational stories of six “every men” who get a real clean break from their everyday routines to test their physical and emotional bounds.

David Slyfield trains his athletes using kickboxing/boxing training as he mentions it is a great cross over training and anaerobic workout that teaches his athletes speed and coordination skills.

Such training also works muscles on the upper body which is essential in the sailing sport!

Circuit and agility training plays a part too in an athlete’s training.

Active Kickboxing Fitness is a good cross-training workout that works the entire body! A calorie-burning one too!

Combined Kickboxing with agility circuits and workouts, Active Red intends to come up with such a programme in the near future.

So stay tuned for that!
