Hey everyone!! The weekends are kicking in real fast, isn’t it? 🙂
Anyway, as you may know that Active Life Center will be expanding and we’ll be providing more fitness services to you guys! One of the many fitness services we would be catering to our clients would be Functional Training. So what is functional training really about and what are the benefits?
Many of you would probably guess it as a workout that has lots of functions? Oh well, you are close to it but allow me to elaborate a little further. One of the definitions I quoted from here says this:
“Functional fitness exercises train your muscles to help you do everyday activities safely and efficiently.”
Oh yeah, as the sentence tells you, functional training is beneficial to us and it also works various joints in our body which also trains our muscles functionally. For instance, one of the functional exercise used is a medicine ball squat.
This exercise will actually train your butt (gluteus), legs, lower back, arms and shoulder which we would use in our daily life. Things like carrying a baby up from the crib or picking up something from the floor. Of course, in Active Life center, you could expect these in our package and also we would be importing other equipment for training such as Cross Core, Resistance Bands, Dumbells and many more.
Lastly, I hope you guys enjoyed what I’ve shared up here and have a good day ahead! Cheers!
