Founded in 2014, it is the Premise which provides the extension of services from Active Red.

Offering a wide range of Group Fitness Classes such as Active Kickboxing Fitness, Active Kickboxing Bootcamp, Active Circuit Training System (ACTS) and Active Pro to women.


World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO)

WAKO (World Association of Kickboxing Organizations)

Founded in 1976, by American Kickboxing Promoter Mike Anderson and German Kickboxing Promoter George Bruckner.

The Organization has then grown to have 118 affiliated nations across 5 continents, and has today 85 affiliated national federations which are officially recognized by either their National Olympic Committees or by their Highest Government Sport Authorities.

WAKO is proud to announce that under the auspices of AIMS, which we are a member of, WAKO is now the part of the IOC family under the auspices of AIMS.

WAKO is an official partner of the Olympic movement of sports with all the associated support services available to us and our members.

“We (Active Red) are the appointed national representative for the World Association of Kickboxing Organisations (WAKO) – the sole governing body for Kickboxing sport in the world – in Singapore.”

Our aim is to introduce and promote:

  1. Non-combative Kickboxing Fitness workouts as a safe, effective weight loss and fitness programme for almost anyone — and one that will help you achieve your fitness goals in the shortest time possible.
  2. Kickboxing Sports in:
  • Tatami Sports as a new sport in schools – competitions which are similar in nature to the ones organised in Taekwondo and Karate.
  • Ring Sports for those who seek physical challenges and push their fitness limits – in the likes of boxing or Muay Thai competitions.
