Bike Hike 2011!

Hello everyone!

Its been a week since we last posted an update. Believe you enjoyed our previous post and the photos that came with it.

Apologise for keeping you waiting for our next post – you see, we’ve been really busy yet again. In just one week, we are blessed to be recognised as valued partner for various events partnerships. There’s so much to tell – one post is definitely not enough!

So for today, we bring to you our latest sponsorship efforts!

We have always supported the development of our younger generation of Singaporeans – i.e. students who are pursuing thier education in the various institutions in Singapore.

In fact, this coming week, we have committed to supporting one of the prominent JCs in Singapore for thier sporting event – Hwa Chong Institution (College) – The Outdoor Activities Club (OAC)’s Bike Hike 2011!

The Bike Hike consists taking a breathtaking and scenic 60km bike route through Singapore, passing through iconic landmarks such as F1 pit building, Marina Bay, Orchard Road and Little India! Ask a group of friends along and you could spend the night together and be wowed by how Singapore looks like at night.

 

More importantly, all net proceeds will go to the Red Cross’ Japan Relief Fund. It defintely is a meaningful and purposeful contribution to help the needy!

Oldest Singaporean to engage in Active Kickboxing! AAC 2011 Wrap up.

Hello everyone,

It’s been a week since the Active Ageing Carnival 2011 (AAC 2011) ended.

Today we wrap it up with an inspiring story!

We present to you the oldest Singporean to ever engage in Active Kickboxing!

Can anyone make a guess how old she is? (email us or drop us a comment) 🙂 You might just be able to win yourself a surprise gift!

She truly is an inspiration to all of us!

Now, if she can do it, anyone can do it! Especially us younger ones.

She is our Active Kickboxing Champion at AAC 2011!

In fact, she dropped by the Workout Zone (where Active Red was) 2 days in a row!

She not only Punch and Kick her way to be our AAC Active Kickboxing Champ, she even showed us some pretty nifty footwork in the agility ladder challenge (with her daughter cheering her on)! WOW! Our utmost respect to her!

YES! Active Kickboxing is that safe! With the World Association of Kickboxing Organisations (WAKO) accrediting it, it defnitely is credible! You are definitely in safe hands!

In fact, we saw a huge number of respectable senior citizens engaging Active Kickboxing at AAC 2011! Age ranges 60 and above! They truly enjoyed it – they were all eager to ‘play’ (translated from the Chinese languages of Mandarin and Hokkien) with Active Kickboxing!

Again, if these seniors view Active Kickboxing to be a fun and ‘good to play’ (in Mandarin and Hokkien) Sport, anyone can safely engaging in Active Kickboxing!

We sincerely invite all seniors (anyone above 50 years of ag) to come try Active Kickboxing Seniors!
